Alexander Bublik continues making winning tracks on Gstaad's red clay.

Bublik did not face a break point powering past Arthur Cazaux 6-1, 7-5 to advance to his 13th career final at the Swiss Open Gstaad today.

The second-seeded Bublik dominated his service games.

Bublik blasted 12 aces, served 72 percent and won 33 of 38 first-serve points in a confident 73-minute conquest.

The 28-year-old Bublik defeated Cazaux for the second time in as many meetings.

Bublik, who defeated world No. 1 Jannik Sinner en route to the Halle title on grass last month, will play for his first career clay-court championship in tomorrow's final. Bublik is bidding to become the second man from Kazakhstan to win an ATP clay-court crown after Andrey Golubev won 2010 Hamburg.

The big-hitting Bublik, who improved to 16-5 in Tour-level tournaments since the ATP Masters 1000 Madrid in April, will play Juan Manuel Cerundolo for the first time in tomorrow's final.

Earlier, world No. 109 Cerundolo defeated Peruvian qualifier Ignacio Buse 6-3, 6-3 on Roy Emerson Arena.

Cerundolo, who upset top-seeded Casper Ruud, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 in Friday's quarterfinals, converted three of six break points in a one hour, 22-minute triumph today.

It is the second Tour-level final for Cerundolo, who captured the 2021 Cordoba title in his Tour debut.
