Devils Awkwardly Edited Quinn Hughes Out Of Olympic Picture

by news-sportpulse_admin

That’s Wild

Teams around the NHL are posting pictures and videos of their star players all taking part in practices as they get ready for the Olympic action to start Wednesday. Because, what else would they do during this break? But the New Jersey Devils took it a step further.

As we all know, the Devils were heavily rumored to be the landing spot for Quinn Hughes before the Minnesota Wild came in with an actually enticing offer and got the star defenseman out of Vancouver. There must be some level of weird spite and vitriol coming from the Devils graphic design of social media department because as they posted what was originally a group photo of the two sets of brothers on Team USA — the Tkachuks and the Hugheses — they edited Quinn out.

It is just so strange to do that and also do such a terrible job hiding it. Maybe they’re trying to make it some sort of joke because it is done so terribly, with Quinn’s right leg still completely visible, but it just comes off as petty and weird. [Yahoo Sports]
