The 30-year-old from Odessa improved to 18-4 lifetime in finals with a 6-4, 7-6(8) triumph over Olga Danilovic on Sunday at the Capfinances Rouen Métropole in one hour and 58 minutes. With her husband, French icon Gael Monfils, in attendance, top-seeded Svitolina saved a pair of set points in the second set to lock down her first title since the spring of 2023.
Svitolina claims her seventh WTA clay-court title – she did not drop a set all week.
