Wild Players Making Waves At World Championships

While we are here being miserable about the Minnesota Wild not making it out of the first round of the playoffs for yet another year, some of the members of this team are overseas playing in the IIHF World Championships. From established veterans nearing retirement, to prospects carving out their own path; there is lots of Wild representation at the tournament this year.

And just on Sunday, a total of six players suited up to represent their country.

 

  • It has been projected that Kirill Kaprizov is going to be paid the highest salary in the entire NHL on his new contract. With a mix of Minnesota needing to retain its star and the rising salary cap, all signs are pointing to that being a real possibility.
