That’s Wild
Charlie Stramel needed a good start to his season. After the change from Wisconsin to Michigan State before last season propelled him to a solid 27-point campaign that got him back in as one of the Minnesota Wild’s good prospects, the 2023 first-round pick could build the hype even more with the Spartans loading up.
Michigan State was going to be a good team no matter what. But as soon as Porter Martone and Cayden Lindstrom were added to the roster, their contention aspirations became even more serious. Then add Swedish center Eric Nilson and fun winger Ryker Lee to the fold, and there is a burgeoning group of powerhouse top prospects in East Lansing.
Thankfully, Michigan State is off to a very good start as they just completed a back-to-back weekend sweep. Last weekend, their victims were Boston University; this weekend, it was Northern Michigan. Through the last four games, Stramel earned three points and now has scored six in the six games of the NCAA season so far.
